Assessment Centres

At PPS we have developed our assessment centre service to give you the best possible indication of an individual's actual or potential ability.  This can be used both during the recruitment process and for internal development.

3 out of 4 are offered a position by the client

In accordance with your agreed competencies, we will: 

  • Identify and agree core competencies and design a competency framework
  • provide advice and guidance on when and if assessment centres should be used and on their content 
  • Design, administer and manage assessment centres
  • Provide assessor training days to upskills managers 
  • Provide assessors to observe candidates during exercises
  • Provide bespoke assessment analysis for each candidate during each exercise to ensure fairness and consistency throughout

To provide an accurate insight into the skills and potential of the candidates at assessment, our exercises include:

  • Group discussions
  • Written exercises
  • Analysis exercises
  • In tray exercises
  • Role play scenarios

Of the applicants who are put forward to one of our assessment centres, on average 3 out of 4 are offered a position by the client.
