Will Shepherd – Managing Director
Educated at the London School of Economics and Leiden University in the Netherlands, and travel thirst sated by a trip through India, Pakistan and Iran, Will settled into employment with a spell running his own advertising and clothing businesses.
London and recruitment beckoned however, and Will started his recruitment career in 1994, with at that time a small, but soon to grow recruitment agency. Progressing through the ranks, he worked with and managed teams in Finance, Public Sector and IT, before taking the role of European Director – managing all of the recently acquired businesses across six countries, and across all levels of recruitment. In 2009, Will and his business partner Amanda acquired PPS, and while Amanda takes care of sales, Will focuses on ensuring high quality delivery, innovative product offerings and strategic direction of the business. |

Amanda Marques - Sales Director
Amanda began working in recruitment in 1996 and spent many years managing and developing both temporary and permanent teams in the UK and USA.
As the recruitment market developed, Amanda moved to head up the neutral vendor managed service division for Badenoch & Clark, responsible for delivering millions of pounds of savings and process efficiencies to both public and private sector organisations. Having successfully completed an MBO of the division, including RPO services in May 2009, Amanda's role is now focussed on developing the right recruitment solutions for existing and new clients. |

Deborah Edmondson - Major Accounts Director
Debbie holds a degree in Human Resource Management and worked for Persona Management Consultants in London before joining PPS in 2002. With Persona, Debbie worked on assessment centres, development centres, outplacement and training projects. She also collaborated on the writing of an Interview Skills Training course for Vodafone.
At PPS, Debbie has managed various teams in both general and graduate recruitment working with clients such as Halfords, Total UK, Whitbread and ACAS. In her current role, Debbie heads up our Managed Services division, looking after clients including a2dominion, Genesis Housing and Metropolitan Housing Trust. |

Darren Edwards - IT Manager
Joining Land Rover in 1990 Darren continued his personal development by gaining Electrical, Management, Software and Engineering qualifications. This led to him becoming a process manager for the Storm and L'Series cylinder Block line, leading a team of 56 People over three shifts.
Whilst in the role he quickly turned his talents to the job in hand. Resulting in some impressive savings of manpower and resources which are still used today. He also became the IT 'go to' for all the specialised reporting needed in such a high pressure environment. Leaving that industry in 2000 to become an IT consultant, he became increasingly involved in recruitment solutions for several companies until 2005 when he became a permanent member of the team at PPS. Starting on his first project at the age of 14 to produce a database driven velocity and distance program for a local company, several one off projects at Land Rover and some Bespoke solutions whilst working as a consultant, Darren has now had over 20 years of experience in developing 'Application Solutions' on several platforms, as well as Kaizen, project management, process control, system design, Process analysis and internet security skills to name a few. |

Bernadette Doody – Key Accounts Director
Bernie spent 18 years with HSBC Bank in various management roles in customer services dealing with complaints, KPI's, HR issues & recruitment, managing 100+ staff. Bernie’s last 18 months with HSBC were spent as a local HR Manager for 2 sites / 350 staff dealing with law related redundancy issues and assisting staff to find jobs if they wanted to stay within the company.
In October 2005, Bernie joined the PPS volume team working for clients such as Gambling Commission, Mecca Bingo and Roc / Esso. Bernie is SHL qualified to administer tests & Assessment Centre trained. She is now the Key Accounts Director, responsible for clients such as Halfords and Danone, managing graduate, permanent and head office recruitment, exits and retention. |

Mandy Glover – Managed Services Account Manager
Mandy graduated from Aston Universityin 2008 with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Sociology. Following a placement year with PPS as a Recruitment Administrator for clients such as Halfords and Total, Mandy began full time in September 2008 to join the Managed Services team as a Resource Co-ordinator.
After a year in this position Mandy was promoted to Managed Service Team Leader where she manages four housing association clients and 2 members of staff. In 2010, Mandy became account manager for the Managed Services team. This role is both managerial and operational in nature, dealing with everything from recruiting and invoicing to client meetings and performance reviews. |

Kate Harris – Account Manager
Kate joined PPS as a Recruitment Administrator after graduating in 2004 from the University of Gloucestershire with a BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management. She worked within the Volume Team on accounts such as Roc / Esso, Keypoint and the Saint Gobain Group, recruiting for all levels of staff from Sales to Management.
After a break to go travelling, Kate returned to PPS as a Client Account Co-ordinator within the Volume Recruitment team, focussing on high volume multiple vacancies including initial telephone screening through to facilitating at Assessment Days with clients such as Hermes. |

David Beesley – Account Manager
Dave Beesley is an Account Manager for our Housing Team, specialising in permanent recruitment. Holding experience in temporary as well as permanent recruitment for housing, Dave has also recruited for the retail sector.
Dave joined PPS in 2007 as an Industrial Placement student from Aston Business School, Birmingham. Dave’s first role with PPS allowed him to support a variety of key retail clients including Halfords and Total UK. Upon graduating in BSc (Hons) Human Resource Management in 2009, Dave secured a permanent position within our Managed Services division. After almost two years supporting clients with temporary recruitment, Dave moved over to the permanent team where he currently manages our key housing clients’ recruitment function. Specialising in the social housing sector, Dave oversees our clients’ recruitment for many different departments and business functions. Working closely to their HR teams, Dave prides himself on delivering an innovative service based on quality and flexibility, while working hard to develop our practices to ensure effective cost per hire. Dave gained Associate CIPD status in 2009. |
